CONCEPT:

 

When I was a boy, I used to collect bubble gum trading cards featuring great NFL players. This devotional ‘playbook’ takes some of the Bible’s greatest heroes and puts them into an NFL trading card format.​

Each week during the 16-week NFL regular season (17 counting the ‘bye’ week) players are recognized for outstanding performances on the field. So, I selected 17 guys in the Bible known for their outstanding spiritual performances as the Player of the Week, plus 5 daily TIME OUTS to help you move down the field in your relationship with God.
